After a sluggish start against Embleton last Saturday, Alnwick went in front after 15 minutes.

Stephen Hogg crossed from the left for Mike Openshaw to chest it down and score.

Embleton equalised due to a bad clearance going straight to Jonny Colly and the Embleton centre-forward made no mistake.

Alnwick made it 2-1 after a Danny Lillico cross fooled the Embleton keeper and it sneaked in at the far post.

Alnwick made it 3-1 after Gary Taylor took the defender on and cross for Stephen Hogg to get in front of the keeper and slot it in the corner.

After the break, it took Alnwick another 20 minutes to add to their tally with a carbon copy of the third goal with Gary Taylor who was having a great game down the left to cross, but this time Dale Kennedy was on the end of it.

Alnwick were not really troubled for the rest of the game but should have added to the score with Mike Openshaw, Gary Taylor and Neil McFall firing over.
